We are an award winning teaching practice affiliated to Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
We have medical students in the Practice, usually on a Tuesday afternoon. The students are early in their training so are fully supervised. They will sit in on consultations, accompany doctors on visits and may see some patients on their own briefly before being joined by a supervising professional. Patient involvement is greatly appreciated and helps medical students learn to become competent doctors. You will be informed if a medical student is present and be given the opportunity to say if you do not wish them to be in attendance.
Dr Nick Arundale is currently responsible for training in the practice.
Continued professional development
We are all committed not only to help train new health care professions, but to continue the development of our own knowledge and skills. To that end, we regularly have clinical and whole-team meetings for education as well as to cover business and administration matters.
