Register with the surgery

We regret to inform you that, due to current pressures on the practice, we have taken the decision to limit the number of new patient registrations at Dolphins Practice.

This means the patient registration process will operate in a different way and could involve registering with an alternative practice.

For assistance with finding a GP Surgery in Sussex, please contact the NHS Sussex GP Allocations Teams by email sxicb.gpallocations@nhs.net stating the full names of everyone who needs to register, and your full address, including postcode. Alternatively you can call 0300 140 9855.

The team will provide you with the available practice options and arrange for an allocation if necessary.

However, we will continue to register the following patients in the usual way:

  • newborn or adopted babies of parents already registered at the Practice who are still living within our boundary.
  • first degree relatives of patients already registered at the Practice who are living at the same address as registered patients and are still living within our boundary.

Thank you so much for your help and if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Registering with the surgery

To register with the surgery:

When you register, it’s helpful to have your NHS number. You can use the NHS website to find your NHS number.

Named GP

All patients at Dolphin's Practice have a named, accountable doctor who is responsible for coordinating their care.

Your named doctor will be allocated to you by the practice. You can still talk to or make appointments to see any of our doctors or nurses, not just your named GP.

If you have a preference and would like to request a particular doctor at the practice to be your named GP please talk to one of our receptionists.
