Massage Therapy at Dolphins Practice

The Dolphins has its own professional massage therapist based at the practice.

Neville Dalton is qualified in Swedish and advanced massage techniques, and has a diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards.

He is fully insured and is a member of the Complementary Therapists Association.

He holds regular sessions at the Dolphins on Fridays, but is also available on other days by arrangement.

Although many of his clients are Dolphins patients, his services are available to all, subject to a prior health consultation.

Massage – an ancient practice, with many potential health benefits - is enjoying a surge in popularity as people become more conscious of their health and the value of preventive medicine.

Swedish is the most conventional of massages, and is suitable for people of all ages, subject to health considerations.

Massage is a safe, non-invasive treatment that can relax or invigorate. It helps cleanse the body of toxins and waste products and it improves the flow of oxygen to muscles and vital organs, aiding recovery and easing tension.

Neville has kept the cost of a one-hour full-body massage at £30 since he joined the practice in 2008, although it is likely to go up in the new year. But introductory discounts are available. A half-hour treatment currently costs £20.
