Facilities at The Practice
The new surgery is a state of the art GP Practice with full disabled access
including a lift to the first floor, greatly improved car parking facilities
including 50 spaces and three disabled spaces. There are two large comfortable
waiting areas and pleasant surroundings for both patients and staff which
include paintings by local artists, which includes one of our Nurses,
Lou Beckerman.
Dolphins is a well established practice with more than 12,200 patients
and since the practice has gradually expanded, it has outgrown the Health
Centre in Heath Road.
We believe that the new practice continues to provide the highest quality,
most effective and efficient primary care to all of our patients combined
with the personal, friendly service that has become a hallmark for many
years".
There is a touchscreen booking
in system to confirm your arrival and a plasma television to keep you
informed of current issues within the Practice. We regularly have evening
talks held at the Practice. We also have a blood pressure machine in the
quiet room to the right of downstairs reception if you wish to check your
blood pressure.
The Friends of Dolphins Practice are a Patient Participation Group (PPG)
set up to encourage and help patients to understand the role of the Practice,
make informed lifestyle choices, encourage effective treatment and care,
and influence healthcare decisions on a local and national level.
